I love gadgets and trying out the latest must-have toy, especially when it makes life easier or helps with my business. I recently came across the QR bar codes. I downloaded the QR reader to my iphone and was amazed when I scanned a bar code in a magazine, and next think a video popped up on my iphone.
So of course to take it one step further I decided to try and make my own bar code for my new mobile website – and here it is:
Maybe it will be something that takes off – maybe not. If enough people are using them it could be useful to add the bar codes to business cards – a quick and easy way for clients to check out your website on the go without having to try and type URL’s into their smartphones! If not, then its just a bit of fun which is distracting me from the work I should really be doing!

Little “E” was busy colouring and making cards. I sat down and chatted with her and helped her with her colouring and cards. Once I could tell she was relaxed and happy with me being there I asked her if I could take some pictures of her – “of course” she said!
I had so much fun spending time with this 3 year old. We played all sorts of games, but I think my favourite was the magic box. When it was time for me to leave little “E” didn’t want me to go. I love it when the kids enjoy the sessions this much, and hopefully mum did too!

They met on a blind date and from the moment he saw her he knew he would marry her. Before long she had moved in with him, and then he was down on one knee with ring in hand in front of 200 people. She said yes and they have been planning their wedding ever since.
Canvey Island was freezing cold and blowing a gale but it didnt stop us venturing out for Sophie and Paul’s pre-wedding shoot. I am so glad we did as they are such a fantastic couple. They had me laughing non stop and they have so much love for each other. Hey, and guess what! They are getting married on my birthday!

Just sharing a couple from a recent maternity session. Many mums-to-be freak at the idea of having their pregnant body captured on film (or digital memory card), but are pleasantly surprised with the results. Baby bumps (and expectant mums) come in all shapes and sizes – all as beautiful as each other.
